RYA Senior Instructor
The 4 day RYA Senior Instructor course covers preparation and delivery of sessions, course and centre management, powerboat handling in a teaching environment, RYA sailing schemes and the role of a Senior Instructor. Students will be assessed on a continual basis over the 4 days when running water-based simulated group management sessions. You will also have to demonstrate you have sailing ability to RYA Pre Entry Assessment standard. The prerequisites for this course are RYA Dinghy Instructor (2 years part time or 1 years full time), RYA Safety Boat, a valid First Aid certificate and RYA Safe and Fun Safeguarding. Rockley has all these prerequisites available if you need any or all of them.
